The Apo on the Wall is a kind of poetry. This poetry is connected to the Revolutionary of Raymundo Mata. I’ve learned a lot on this lesson. The Revolutionary of Raymundo Mata and the Apo on the Wall both of them are referring to the martial law. The Apo on the Wall is written year ago, yet, stills a reflection of our current situation. I must say, the poem made a big impact on me. The youths for today including me is let their selves to be blind enough to not to see those lives being taken,, months being covered, and freedom being stolen. The filipinos year ago is on their emotions and their opinions.

The illustration of what the boy in the poem saw is clear enough for me to like I am standing beside him, also sneaking arround his father’s office, nervous that his father might cathch him. Behind this freedom that I’m enjoying right now were bloods and screams of my fellow country men. Everything that happened in the past made me appreciate more what I have now. For today’s generation the students like me is more lucky for we did not experience such. Such that some students now to make sure that everything they want to say or every word that will come out on their mouths will not be nonsense. This poem inspired me for what the people who sacrifices their lives just for us to have all that we have right now.

The relationship of a student to a teacher are very important for quality teaching and student learning. Some of the students didn’t know the greatest and best relationship between the student and teacher. Most of the students doesn’t have care for it. Let us try to think and understand the teacher-student relationship.

Base on my sight, the student-teacher relationships can be a friends. They’re tried to understand our problems and help us to solve or fix it. They said that the teacher is our second mother because they worries too a lot about the studies , problems, etc. of their students or childrens. The teacher also can be a god that gives us blessings to success in every field. To be able to build up such a relation of teacher-student is very easy after knowing each other properly. All we have to do is to have faith and respect to our teachers. We can tell or open up our problems to them so that they can surely do something to help us. Having a very good relationships with a teacher will make us free from tensions, worries, etc. But now a days if you are so close with a teacher, the students think is that you are a “sipsip”. They are thinking that you are just closing to them just to have a higher grades. Don’t think like that, because they can help us to solve our problems.

In choosing between a teacher or a best friend that who can help us more in great difficulty, I think is the teacher can help us more than a best friend. We can tell our problems to our friends and they give us some advise and they can only console as they can’t do anything more. On the other hand, a teacher will stand along with us that surely gives us the guidance to face and cope any problems. So that the relationship of a student to teacher is very important.
